Working and studying – Postgraduate Law and Business courses for professionals

Applying for a postgraduate law course or a postgraduate business course is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to further their studies and career. However, an issue for many postgraduates when it comes to studying at university is finance and costs. When applying for such courses it can be a struggle to find the money you need.

However, there are many ways you can help fund your course if you go the right way about it after you make your final decision. Many universities, like some UK University Business Schools, offer scholarships or bursaries for those who need the extra support. Even if you only qualify for a small amount of support, the payment arrangements are flexible so you can pay back what you borrowed in your own time.

There are also many public funding bodies who delegate awards to eligible individuals to cover their tuition fees. These come in the form of grants for maintenance and living costs i.e. cost of books, travel to and from university and general expenses.

For those who are not eligible to the above and can’t afford another loan, there are also charities and trusts that award partial funding for your postgraduate studies. These awards may range in size depending on what your circumstances are i.e. how much you earn yearly , but they can be a huge help for further study.

There are also special allowances for disabled students so they can afford to pay for impairment-related course costs. This is so they are not at a disadvantage to anyone else. Whatever type of support you are looking for, there are several funding options to meet those needs so when it comes to university, and the only thing you need to worry about is actually doing the work and getting it in on time.
